1. What kind of product is Museflow?
Museflow is a product for a digital audio to enhance the sound quality. Museflow enhances sound quality basically not only for compressed music source as MP3 but for non-compressed music source as CD so that it is able to listen to digital audio music joyfully and comfortably.
2. What is the most attractive feature of Museflow?
Being applied improving sound quality algorithm (completion of patent application) of RADSONE Inc., it can reduce quantization noise which is inevitable in digital audio to make clean and soft sound, and this is the most attractive feature of Museflow. Since this technology controls rough sound from CD and especially MP3, which has lots of quantization noise, it makes to listen more comfortable.
3. Wouldn't the sound quality of a CD still be ok? Is Museflow really needed?
To download a demo version of Museflow to compare each sound is the easiest way to find out. CDs are not the instrument to save music perfectly but one option made in early 1980's to standardize technology for manufacturing disk. Of course, though it had dramatic improvement regarding dynamic range or playing frequency range compared to cassette tape or similar media, it still has lots of room to improve regarding sound quality. It is the evidence that you can feel the enhanced sound quality after applying Museflow.
4. Are there other features from Museflow besides listening to music more clearly?
Besides the feature of listening to digital audio more clearly and comfortably, Museflow provides appropriate sense of space. The reason why the sense of space, which is provided by Museflow, is different from previous reverberation effect is to give a well-balanced and appropriate sense of space no matter how much reverberation the music source has. cf) Previous reverberation effect: It provides a sense of space for less reverberation music source, but for music with excessive reverberation, it gives unnatural reverberation effect. Furthermore, due to lack of frequency resolution as MP3 it does not make a very clear sound. Museflow increases the frequency resolution and realize natural reflection, diffusion and decay of sound by modeling as if it were in an excellent musical space, so that it gives such a feeling as listening to music in a good designed concert hall
5. Museflow program has been installed. Where can I find the program icon?
Museflow works as a plug-in program for Windows Media Player, the default player of Windows-based computers. Because it is a plug-in program, you can check whether it is installed only in Control Panel - Programs menu. The program icon will not be created separately. After running Windows Media Player, Museflow screen appears while playing music or video files.
6. Is Museflow a software product?
Museflow has a software product which can be used in the personal computer or laptop as well as a hardware product which can be provided as DSP or DAC module additionally.
7. Is there any difference of performance between software and hardware product?
Since the same Museflow algorithm was applied to each software and hardware product, there is no performance difference in the music output. However, different from software product which works only in PC or laptop, hardware product can be plugged in to any audio system to apply Museflow processing anytime.
8. What is the difference between Museflow and previous sound effects (BBE, SRS, Noise Reduction effect, etc)?
The previous sound effect is based on the algorithm which boosts the base (low frequency) in the original music source or applies some specific effects as surround sound, thus this causes quite a few changes. Moreover, though the Noise Reduction effect works at some level, it cuts down a big portion of frequency from the original music source. Therefore, these kinds of effects may be used only whenever the user prefers to. Whereas, Museflow is more like an algorithm based on restoration. The main purpose is to allow a user to listen to music with joy and comfort by providing sound quality to digital audio which already lost a significant portion of that quality.
9. Is there any caution to listen to music with Museflow?
There is no specific caution in using Museflow. Due to the effects listed above it is able to listen to digital sound louder and for a longer time with Museflow. You can feel the difference even in the living room or any room out loud, but it is more noticeable to have better quality when you use headphones or earphones.
10. What is the difference between the Demo and Commercial version
There is no difference in the algorithms between the Demo and Commercial versions. However, in the Demo version, it outputs 3 seconds silence per each 10 minutes of music and is available only for one month.
